I love the direction the client picked and how everything turned out. However, some cool exploration happened outside of this direction for our initial presentation. Below are the two other directions we presented.
This offers a more engaging, conversational approach as “Designed around life” serves as a “Choose Your Own Adventure” experience for the homepage. When you hover over “life,” a series of words pops up for the user to explore. Selecting a word keeps the user on the homepage, but makes the header image, type, and color palette change. The changing homepage nods to the multifunctionality of the building itself.
Upon selecting a word, the description animates below and links you to the page that will tell you more about convenience. The layout of the page stays the same but the colors change.
Intended to push the envelope for the client, this direction pulls a lot of inspiration from the Ally Charlotte Center ring logo. As you scroll down the page, the rings, their position, content, and background color change. The rings are dynamic as they flex around the page.
None of this could have happened without these incredible folks!
